Ida Lick was born October 30, 1889 in Hugo, Oklahoma (Choctaw County), daughter of William Henry Lick (1867-1935) and Rutha Helen Collins (1864-1934).

In 1909 in Texas, Ida married William Lagustus 'Gus' Lyon who was born October 9, 1876 in Texas, son of David Glenn Lyon (1851-1937) and Harriet 'Carrie' Mercer (1856-1946).

Ida and Gus had one known son, William Glenn Lyon (1011-1929).

Ida died July 4, 1956 in Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) and was buried there in the Highland Cemetery. Gus died September 12, 1957 in Durant and was buried in Highland Cemetery beside his wife.
