Jones Washington McFarlen was married to Fannie A.E. Taylor on 25 July 1873 in Madison Co. Tennessee. They were the parents of Ten children, four of which died before 1900. The remaining children were, William Albert McFarlen, Callie Lou McFarlen Lehman, John Washington McFarlen, Ethel Fannie McFarlen Howard, Roger Quincy McFarlen and Jessy Seyborn McFarlen. Fannie died about 1908 and is buried in an unmarked grave in the "Old Hillsboro Cemetery" in Hillsboro, Texas.
