AMOS

Wreatha Blanche Amos, daughter of William and Minnie Klages, was born in Lucas County, Iowa, March 21, 1904 and departed this life May 20, 1982 at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Lucas County.

On October 25, 1920 she was united in marriage to Clarence Amos and to this union two sons were born. She was a loving wife and homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, two brothers, four sisters and a great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence of the home address, two sons, Ivan Amos of Whittier, Calif. and Walter Amos of Chariton; a sister, Minnie Rice of Danville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., May 22, 1982, at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Wauneita McConnell officiating. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
