Mrs. Odie Lela Childers, 89, of 4004 11th Av., died yesterday at her residence.
Born in Doddridge county, a daughter of the late J.L. and Louisa Eddy Yost, she was a member of Edgelawn United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Clara Morris, Mrs. Sylvia Hanlon, Mrs. Marguerite Bradley and Mrs. Virginia Foggin, all of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Lena Martin of Columbus, O.; one sister, Mrs. Rhoda Lee of Toronto, O.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. W.E. Childers, and one son.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kimes Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Sutphin officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
