Rev. Kenneth Ray Hedden, age 61, of Pikeville passed away Tuesday June 15, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born on August 23, 1948 to the late John Beckhan & Vernice Mae Murphy Hedden. He was a Security Officer for 32 years and was a member of Hope Freewill Baptist Church.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Robert "Bobby" Thomas Hedden, William "Billy" Lee Hedden, James "Jimmy" Edward Hedden, Archie Hedden and one sister: Mary Francis Woistman Hedden.
He is survived by two sons: John Kenneth Hedden and Ronald Pittman, both of Elkhart, IN, one daughter: Rose (Karson) Newsome of Dorton, six grandchildren: Demitri Hedden, Brittany and Rachel Pittman of Elkhart, IN, William, Cameron and Marissa Newsome of Dorton; and many cousins scattered throughout Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas and California.
