Earl worked at Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville for 36 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Keystone Good Fellows Club, and an Army veteran. He married Gladys L. Leddy in Peoria during 1940.
Survivors included his wife; son Dennis of Glasford; daughters Shirley Cone of East Peoria and Marilyn Reimers of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and one sister, Vivian Farrar of Peoria. He was preceded in death by a daughter, six brothers, three sisters, and two half-brothers.
