Wheatland, Ind., Sept. 21. -- At Newport, Ky., Friday night Willard A. Dillon of this place and Miss Hattie Bateman of Washington were united in marriage, the ceremony having been performed at the home of a relative of the bride. The groom is a passenger brakeman on the B. & O. Southwestern road with headquarters in Cincinnati and is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Dillon of this place. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Bateman who reside on a farm near Washington and who until a few months ago resided in Wheatland. After a few days spent in St. Louis Mr. & Mrs. Dillon will return to Wheatland for a visit and will then go to Cincinnati where they will reside.

Her son, Wilbur Dillon, was the informant on her Death Certificate. Hattie died from cardiac arrest due to arteriosclerotic heart disease.
