Mrs. Goos was born Dec. 29, 1915, to John and Anna (Johnson) Buss in Adams County. On March 1, 1936, she married Claus H. Goos at her parents' home near Blue Hill. She and her husband farmed southeast of Blue Hill until retir¬ing in 1976 and moving into Blue Hill. They moved to Hastings in 2000.
She was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church south of Rosemont and Calvary Lutheran Church of Rosemont where she taught Sunday school and was a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Arbie and Louan; three sisters, Leona, Evelyn and Maybel one brother, Melvin; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services are at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill with the Rev. James Witt officiating.
