Mr. Kinney was well known in the Waynesburg vicinity having been employed as a truck driver by various companies and dealers. He was born in Jackson Township, Greene County, on Nov. 5, 1914. He was the son of Robert Kinney, Sr., and the late Gay Hughes Kinney.
He had resided in Waynesburg most of his life and removed to Bardstown recently where he was to have been employed by Williams Brothers' Pipeline Construction Co.
Surviving are his father; his wife, Ruth Rush Kinney, of Waynesburg, one son, Gary Kinney, at home; a brother, Keith Kinney, also of Waynesburg and one sister, Mrs. William (Gwen) Bissett, Jr., of New Freeport.
