Rachel Luella Nichols Boelter Craig was the daughter of Allen A. and Katherine Eva Zais Nichols of Concord, Dixon, Nebraska. She was the sister of:

Two sisters died in infancy

Rachel married Charles William Boelter on March 29, 1929 in Sioux City, Iowa. They lived in South Dakota, Wymoing, Montana, Oregon, and then moved to California in 1942. Rachel married Thomas F. Craig August 15, 1960 in Long Beach, California. He passed away in December, 1972.
Rachel died at 10:42 P.M., November 17, 1995 at Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital in Thornton, Colorado, due to a stroke she suffered on Nov. 1, 1995 in her apartment at Sunny Acres Villa, Thornton, Colorado. She was a retired civil service employee, having worked at the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, California. After she retired, she traveled every few years to the different siblings' homes to visit and get to know her nieces and nephews. She always remembered her siblings' birthdays. She loved to take pictures and was very outgoing. She was survived by two sisters, Mary and Leona, and her son. daughter-in-law, granddaughter and greatgranddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
