Dale, Louise (Albert) Lenninger, Richard, Walter, Mary (Forest) McElwain, Helen (Albert) Lanphear, Merle, Archie, and Harold.
She married Lawrence J. Magner of Auburn, Iowa on December 30, 1940, in Wall Lake, Iowa. They were the parents of:
Phyllis (Raymond) Higgins, Raymond and Robert. They adopted Elaine E. Magner, a niece, when she was young.
Lawrence and Leona lived around Auburn and
Sac City on different farms, before moving to
Lake City. Leona always had a garden; she
canned and froze fruits and vegetables for the winter. She enjoyed fishing, embroidery, baking, going on picnics, going to dances, playing cards, and her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She waa a member of the FVW Ladies Auxilary for 25 years and a member of the Round Robin Club, where she was the auctioneer.
She had health problems steming from diabetes.

LAKE CITY - Leona Magner, 76, died Thursday, June 13, 1996, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30, at the lampe Funeral Home in Lake city with the Rev. Dwight Grosvenor Officiating. Visitation will be after 4 p..m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, Iowa.
....Survivors include her husband, Lawrence,
four children, seven grandchildren and three
great grandchildren., one sister, Mary McElwain
of Long Beach, California, and many nieces and nephews.
