The obituary for Jacob Elliott, stated that he had died Jan. 24, 1917 at Lee's Summitt, MO. Burial was in Windsor Cemetery. He was born in Richland township, a son of T. J. Elliott, Jun. 7, 1875 and had moved to Lee's Summit ten years ago. He married Bessie Sargent, Mar. 29, 1913 and she survived as well as one little daughter, his aged parents, brother W. A. Elliott and sisters, Mrs. Sarah E. Scroggins and Mrs. Mollie E. Barker. An earlier article stated that his wife was a daughter of Mrs. C. V. Sargent. Windsor Gazette - 1 Feb 1917
