Summerville - Funeral service for Mr. Robert Sinclair Barwick, Jr., 81, of Summerville, will be held 12:30 o'clock this (FRIDAY) afternoon, May 30, 2003 in Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. A private interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at noon and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Soriety, SC Division,, 128 Stonemar Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mr. Barwick died Thursday, May 29 2003. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WW11 and received the Purple Heart. Mr. Barwick was a 32 degree mason and was a former member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors are; sons, Lewis A. Barwick of Columbia, and Malcolm S. Barwick and daughter Bonnie Blue Barwick both of Summerville. Mr. Barwick was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Gray Barwick and a daughter, Elizabeth Barwick Moore.
