Fern Harriet Danielson was born to Peter and Borghild Danielson on February 19, 1921 at Perley, Minnesota. She was confirmed at Bethania Lutheran Church at Perley, and later graduated from Borup, MN High School. She was employed for several years at the Erickson General Store at Perley.
Fern and Malcolm "Mike" Bergh were united in marriage on June 9, 1946 at Perley, Minnesota. They resided in the Fargo-Moorhead area until moving to Grand Forks in 1959.
She is survived by her children, Melody (Jerry) Schefter, Grand Forks, and Jeffrey Bergh, Bemidji, MN; grandchildren, Angie (Tim) Fontaine, Grand Forks, Jamie Schefter, Missoula, MT; great-grandchildren, Chasie Fontaine and Brandon Fontaine; a brother, Henry (Marie) Danielson, Moorhead, MN; a sister, Phyllis (Clifford) Lieseth, Moorhead.
