Garnet L. Bridgewater Pritchard, 99, of Frankfort, died at 7:19 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Wesley Manor, Frankfort, where she had lived for the past eight years.

She was born Jan. 23, 1911, in Clinton County, she was the daughter of Ora Earl and Retta Ethel Leighty Timmons.

She married Elvis A. Bridgewater in 1930, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She then married Barney G. Pritchard on May 12, 1973, and he preceded her in death in January 1987.

Mrs. Pritchard was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Tri Beta Class, Faith Circle, Order of the Eastern Star Clinton Chapter 6, and Democrat Women's Club.

Surviving are three daughters, Sandra (Bill) Shaw of Ocala, Fla., Gloria Jean (Pete) Conklin and Patricia (Jim) Guckien, both of Frankfort; a stepdaughter, Virginia Kemmer; and two stepsons, Donald and Jack Pritchard.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara; and a stepdaughter, Jaretta.

Visitation from 10 a.m. until service time at noon Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort.

Interment at Bunnell Cemetery.
