Campbell March 16: Ole Anderson 82 well known and respected resident of Bradford Township passed away at his home at 9 a. m. Monday, March 13th. Death was due to old age and complication.
Mr. Anderson was born July 3, 1861 at Sundalen, Norway. He received his education and was baptized and confirmed in Norway. He came to this country at the age of 21 and settled at Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
In the year 1901 he was united in marriage to Carrie Hanson and moved to Dubach, Louisana to live.
In July 1904 they came to this community and since 1915 has lived on his farm in Bradford Township until 8 years ago he retired.
Mr. Anderson was a life long member of the Lutheran church. He was at all times interested in the affairs of the community having served as chairman of the School Board of his district for 20 years and for 20 years was president of the Campbell rural Telephone Company. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Foxhome Farmers Elevator Company for many years in spite of his age he was very active until the last year or so.
Besides his widow he is survived by three sons and two daughters, Anton and Lewis of Bradford, Marshall of Austin, Minn.; Mrs. Lloyd Erickson (Margaret) of Bradford and Mrs. Hans Steenbock (Myrtle) also of Bradford. Fifteen grandchildren, one brother, Tom of Eau Claire, Wis. Also a large number of neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the house and at 2 o'clock at the Vukku church, Rev. Mulede officiating.
Pallbearers were: Martin Hanson, Archie Kerch, Hjaimer Shelstad, Lars Lyngaas, O. E. Johnson and K. O. Karlgaard.
Interment was in the Vukku cemetery.
