William Dannheim, one of the pioneers of this section, died at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, John Leutbecher at Doss on Wednesday. Graveside services were officiated by Rev. G.H. Hony.

Like the other pioneers, Mr. Dannheim experiences the troubles and hardships of the early settlers. He was a farmer, living most of his life in the Stonewall Community. In more recent years, he lived in town, having retired from active farm life. He was a quiet man, a good citizen, husband, and father. His first wife preceded him in death. In 1891, he was married a second time. Four children from his first wife and one child from his second wife preceded him in death.

Survived by his wife; six children from the first wife and five children from the second wife. The children live in Mason, Gillespie, and Blanco Counties.
