Veteran of World War II~OBITUARY OF EDWARD L. PULS

PERRYTON -- Edward L. PULS, 82, died Friday, April 30, 2004.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Bell officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. PULS was born January 10, 1922, in Booker and was a lifetime resident. He married Leona STABEL on December 15, 1946, in Booker. He was a member of First Christian Church.

He served in the military during World War II in the Air Corps in Northern Australia. He was assigned duty as a radio operator on the Liberator B-24 Bomber and flew 39 combat missions for a total of 440 hours. He received an Air Medal and the Purple Heart. He retired from television sales and service in 1982.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cheryl CLAYTON and husband, Gary, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a son, Steve PULS of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two granddaughters, Veronica DAVIS and husband, Lee, of Colorado Springs and Anna PULS of Aurora, Colorado; a grandson, Anthony CLAYTON of Albuquerque; and a great-granddaughter, Morgan DAVIS of Colorado Springs.

The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church, P.O. Box 1244, Perryton, TX 79070; or a favorite charity.
