Mr. Stukey was born the son of Simeon and Almeda (Sebastian) Stukey.
Mr. Stukey was a retired mechanic for the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, model airplanes, racing go-carts and watching baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, son Gerald (Becky) Binning Jr. of Woodriver, IL, daughters, Debbie (James) Zimmerman of Charlotte, Vicky Binning of Atlanta, MI; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grand children; sisters Magdalina (Elwood) Martin of Bedord, IN and Helen (Max) Dowker of Charlotte, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Simeon and Almeda; first wife, Pat; sister, Arlene Alldafer and brother, Simeon "Bud" Stukey.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 25, 2010 at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rich Mitterling officiating.
