ABRAM BARLOW DEAD
BROWNSBURG
Abram Barlow who lived in this vicinity for a number of years, died at the county poor farm Sunday. He had been at the institution about four months and had gone there of his own volition, making the arrangements, it is said, without the knowledge of any of his friends.
He had three girls and two boys living at various points of the state, none of whom were aware that he had taken up his abode in the poor farm until they received word of his death.
He was not a man of energy, but he possessed many of the elements of Christian character. He was Baptist, and those who knew him best give him credit for more than ordinary consistency.
His remains were brought to the Arbuckle Cemetery Tuesday, where after brief religious services were held, he was laid away in the presence of a number of friends and all but one of his children.
