Services were at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Waddle, the Rev. W. T. Dexter and the Rev. Henry Jenkins officiating. Burial was in the New Salem Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Pebble McFadden Stegall of Fulton; three daughters, Francis King of Smithville, Kathy Foy of Madison, GA., and Louise Stegall of the home; four sons, Dan Stegall of Columbus, Dillard Stegall of Lockesburg, AR., and Hilton Stegall and Bobby Stegall both of Fulton; one sister, Sadie Crosby of Aberdeen, MS., four brothers, Albert Stegall, Henry Booker Stegall, and Shellie Stegall, and of Fulton; 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.Henry Lee Stegall, 93, died Saturday, October 12, 1985, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. He was a resident of the New Salem Community, a retired farmer and sawmiller. He was a deacon and Adult Sunday School Class teacher of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
