Obituary for EDNA LEONA JENNINGS
Funeral services for Edna Leona Jennings of Lebanon, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 1972 at the First Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Harwell officiating. Interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery in Webster County, under direction of Palmer Pickering Funeral Home.
Escorts were Don and Oscar Graves, Bill Owens, Dale Dame, David Buck, Eugene McQueen, James Crall and Bill Smith.
Edna Leona Ford daughter of William and Martha Ford, was born in Benton County AR on December 31, 1898 and died March 11, 1972 at Wallace Hospital in Lebanon.
On December 25, 1915 she was married to Robert J. Ward. They moved to Missouri by covered wagon in the spring of 1916.
She was converted and baptized at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in 1930. Her husband preceded her in death in 1964 and one child in infancy. On March 9, 1969 she was married to Jess Jennings of Lebanon, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Doris Graves of Phillipsburg, a son, Bill Ward of Camdenton, and stepchildren William Jennings of Lebanon and Goldie Peppers of Windyville.
