ETHEL SANDBERG-69:
Keokuk, died last night at Graham Hosp where she was taken yester-day. She was born 21 Aug 1879 at Kahoka MO a dau of Charles & Martha Mallett Betts & liv-ed here since childhood. She married Oxel W Sandberg who preceded her in death 11 Mar 1947. She was a member of the Congregation-al Church, Quid Libet Soc, Elmira Chapter-40-OES, of which she was past matron & was junior past president of Past Worthy Matrons Club. Her interest was centered around singing & music. She graduated from Keokuk High School & attended Lyceum Arts of Chicago.
She is the last of her immediate family. Closer relatives include a sis-in-law MrsCS Townsend & a cousin Mrs LR Lofton-both Keokuk.
Services will be held Friday [12-3] at Schmidt Memorial Home with Eastern Star services at the grave. Burial will be in Oakland Cem.
