Virginia I. "Ginny" Fry, age 78, of Richmond, died Thursday, June 17, 2010, at Ambassador Health Care. Born January 18, 1932, in Richmond, Ind., to Kenneth Bailey and E. Fontella (Bright) Vogelgesang Toney, she was a lifelong resident of this area. Virginia was a 1950 graduate of Richmond High School. She worked at the Insurance Company of North America for over 18 years as a coder. Virginia was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was active in Birthright and in Adult Daycare at First English Lutheran Church. Virginia enjoyed spending nights at the ball parks, playing golf at the Elks Club, and playing eucre and bunko.

Survivors include her husband, Dudley H. Fry to whom she was married July 3, 1971; son, Cory Bailey Fry and wife Missy, both of Richmond; stepsons, Michael Fry and wife Judi of Indianapolis, and Dudley Fry Jr. and wife Susan of Lake Charles, La.; grandchildren, Chloe, Myles, Baylee and Ryley; stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Nash, Jack and Cody; brothers, Ronnie Vogelgesang and wife MaryAnn of Cambridge City, and Danny Vogelgesang of Marion, Ind.; sisters, Carrol Moak of Richmond, Janice Ninde of Centerville, and Bonnie Barrett and husband Ernest of Laurel; and many nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfathers, Paul Vogelgesang and William Toney.

Visitation for Virginia I. "Ginny" Fry will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 21 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 815 West Main St., Richmond, with Father John Luerman officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
