Perry Bradford, 103, of the Bee Log Community of Yancey died in a Johnson City Nursing Home Tuesday morning after a short illness. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Flossie Miller of Jonesboro, Tenn. and Miss Ora Bradford of Johnson City; one son, Francis Bradford of Burnsville Route 4; four (sic) step-sons, Johnnie Pate, Landrum, S.C. and Monroe Pate of Tacoma, Wash.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 at the Bradford family cemetery. Rev. Gilbert Adkins will officiate, Masonic graveside rites will be conducted by Bald Creek Lodge.
