MRS. MARY ALICE FLEAGLE, 53, of Waynesboro, Pa., wife of Gilbert C. Fleagle, died Saturday at 5 a.m. at the Waynesboro Hospital. She was taken critically ill at 4 a.m. Saturday and was removed to the hospital where she died 20 minutes after admission of a heart attack.
Mrs. Fleagle was born at Sabillasville, the daughter of John R. and Anna Moser McClain. Her early life was spent at Sabillasville and after her marriage, October 4, 1925 she lived at Charmian for a year Since then she resided in Waynesboro.
During the last two winters she had been employed at Knouse Foods, Inc. She was a charter member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband she is survived by these children: Charles G. Fleagle, Waynesboro Route 2: Howard E Fleagle, Wayne Heights; Robert V. Fleagle, Walter E., Mrs. Mary L. Minnich, all of Waynesboro; M. Richard and Linda K. Fleagle, at home; five grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. William McKissick, Sabillasville; Mrs. Evelyn Moore, Cascade; Mrs. Edith Morrow, Kenvil, N.J.; Charles McClain, Sabillasville; Lewis and Victor McClain, both of Cascade.
Funeral today conducted by Dr. George L. Detweiler. Burial in Germantown Bethel Church cemetery.
