Mrs. Addie K. Rowland, 68, years old and a resident of Clarendon since 1918, died at the local hospital last Friday following a long illness.
Funeral services were conducted by Claude C. Smith, minister of the Church of Christ, Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Burial was in the Citizens Cemetery.
Mrs. Rowland was born Nov. 12, 1871, at Glenrose, Texas, and moved to Donley County in 1909, and to Clarendon in 1918. She had been a member of the Church of Christ since 1892.
Besides her husband she is survived by five children, Mrs. C.E. Mason, Monterey, California, Mrs. R.E. Darnell, Hedley; Mrs. W.A. Tomlinson, Dallas; Mrs. R.E. Kennedy, Kilgore; and Mrs. E.R. Andrews, Vernon, and one son, deceased.
Eleven grand children and two great grandchildren also survive.
