Mrs. Oleta Jane Bond, age 64, of Anderson, Missouri was called to heaven on Monday, June 14, 2010 at her residence.
Oleta was born in Noel, Missouri on August 13, 1945 to the late Chester and Ruby (Dean) Epperson.
She lived all of her life in Anderson, Missouri.
Oleta married the love of her life, Melvin Bond on November 17, 1961 and to this union one daughter was born.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, gardening and mowing.
She worked as a custodian at the Elementary School in Anderson, Missouri for the last 15 years.
Oleta attended the New Bethel Church in Anderson, Missouri.
She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a sister.
Oleta is survived by her daughter, Camilla Whitten of Anderson, Missouri; two sisters, Hope Drake and Marilyn Hodson both of Anderson, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jeff Ledford and wife, Lori of Anderson, Missouri, Brian Ledford and wife, Kesha of Galena, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Caitlynn Stouder, Mechelle Ledford, Sierra Ledford and Weston Ledford; several nieces and nephews, along with many other family, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Oleta.
