HUGH D. BAXTER, 80, of Memphis, Tennessee, former supervisor for International Harvester, died of cancer on Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at Wallis-Stewart Guardian Chapel Funeral Home in Ringgold, Georgia with burial in Anderson Memorial Cemetery in Ringgold, Georgia. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge locally in Memphis.
Mr. Baxter was a member of Management Club at International Harvester. Mr. Baxter, the husband of Valora Baxter, also leaves two sons, Jack Baxter of Nashville, Tennessee, and Don Baxter of Memphis, Tennessee; three sisters, Doris Harris, Jean Hawes and Louise Baxter; three brothers, E. L. Baxter, Lewis Baxter and John Baxter, all of Ringgold, Georgia, and two grandchildren.
