August Hendrian, for 35 years a resident of Decatur, died in his home, 1703 East Eldorado street, Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock following an illness of many months. Mr. Hendrian was a coal miner, but had lately been working at the Staley Starch Works.
He was born in Germany, Jan. 12, 1867, coming to this country when a young man.
He leaves his wife; two sons, William and August; three daughters, Mrs. William Lashinski, Mrs. Edward Bork and Mrs. W.R. Ranken. He also leaves 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted in St. James Catholic church, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock by Rev. Fr. Ostendorf. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
