Ted married Ruth Elenore Yanke on Sunday September 12, 1948 in McClusky, Sheridan Co, North Dakota.

Ted passed away on Saturday December 27, 1980 in Minot, Ward Co, North Dakota.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth in 1973, sisters: Rose, Ida, Emma, Esther, Mary, Martha, Minnie, Pauline and Verna, brothers: Henry, Otto and Wally Schlag.

Ted is survived by sons: Allen, Jeffery, Dennis and Duane Schlag. Sisters: Mrs. Gus (Albina) Lang, Mrs. Walter (Ann)
Matties, Mrs. Lloyd (Lorraine) Rothacker.

Step-sisters: Mrs. Tillie Rude, Mrs. Marie Cron, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Pankow

Grandchildren: Traci and Nathan
