Mrs. Maude Middlemiss, wife of Myron Middlemiss, died very suddenly Friday morning, her death coming as a great shock to the community who supposed she was in usual good health, she having been around the village the night before. Mr. Middlemiss called to his wife to awaken her at a little after seven. Mrs. Middlemiss started to arise but with a moan fell back and immediately expired. Besides her husband she leaves three sons (David, Carl, and Darrel) and one daughter (Thelma). Mrs. Middlemiss was a frequent attendant at the chapel where she made many friends who will sadly regret her early demise. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home at 1 o'clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev. C. E. Hill. Much sympathy is extended to Mr. Middlemiss and the children.
