Funeral services were held in Orderville for Thomas Blackburn, Tuesday, Feb. 9 1960 in the Ward Chapel. Mr. Blackburn died Friday, Feb. 5th following a lingering illness.
Born May 8, 1888 in Orderville, he was the son of Henry and Nancy Webb Blackburn. He married Matilda Lamb, October 5, 1910 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He had spent his entire lifetime in Kane County where he ranched and was well known for his fine rock collection.
Survivors are, His widow; sons Thomas G., Victor, Orderville; daughter, Fern Silze, Santiquin, Utah; 12 grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Easton, St. George; Ferl, Portland, Oregon; Tone, Orderville; Mrs. Mercy Chamberlain, Mrs. Nancy Chamberlain, bother Orderville; Mrs. Charlotte Kane, Cedar City; Mrs. Margaret Spencer, Los Angeles.
