Almond Harrison was the son of Ira Harrison and Deborah Washburn.

Almond married Fannie Harrison in 1872, Erie Co., Pennsylvania.

Almond and Fannie were the parents of seven children:
Blanche, May, Sue Edna, Frank, Donald Henry, Glenn and Florence.

Almond served in Company I, Unit 102, Pennsylvania Infantry in the Civil War.

During his lifetime he served as substitute for S.F. Stafford of McKean Township, Erie Co., PA, and ran a General Store at McLane started by his father~in~law Henry Hitt.
