Father of 12 children: Isaac, William, John, Ann, Thomas, Osborn, Margaret, Jeremiah Crabb, Elizabeth, Ralph, and two unnamed infants who died after birth.
In his adult life, at the urging of his son Rev. Jeremiah Crabb Monnett, he and his wife came into communion with the teachings of John Wesley, and Methodist Church. Previously the family was aligned with the Anglican and Episcopal Churches.
He died in his home.
NOTE: Everyone in this Monnett grouping was relocated to Prairieview around 1900 from Bald Knob, a family cemetery to the east-southeast. The graves yielded human remains, and the stones were removed to Prairieview as well.
