MARY "HELEN" BALDWIN
The Lord took home Mary "Helen" Baldwin who died after suffering a long illness on February 19, 2005.
Helen was born June 7, 1918 in Mount Vernon, WA to Verne and Stella Branigin. She was a member of the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church. Helen attended and graduated from Mount Vernon School. She then went on to graduate from Reed College with a degree in Biology. Later, she did graduate study at OSHU in Oregon. Studying microbiology and later becoming a medical technologist.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Fred H. Baldwin whom she married in 1942. They had three children: Nancy S. Burton from Bend, OR; Mary K. Marshallsay from Sequim, WA; Steven F. Baldwin from Fort Worth, Texas. She also has seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Helen settled in Marysville where she enjoyed a wonderful life with many friends. She traveled extensively here and abroad, enjoyed hiking mountains and swimming at her home on Crabapple Lake. She was loved by family and friends and will be missed by all.
Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon at 2pm on Monday, February 28, 2005.
