> The funeral for Lorraine McCadden, 83, of 2209 17th Ave. N.W., a longtime Rochester bookkeeper, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jonathan R. Leonard officiating. Burial will be in the Kenyon Cemetery in Kenyon.

> Mrs. McCadden died Sunday (Aug. 24, 1997) at Saint Marys Hospital of natural causes. The former Lorraine Stucki was born Dec. 8, 1913, in Berne, grew up in the area and graduated from West Concord High School in 1931. Before her marriage, she worked at a bank in Dennison, Minn. She married James B. McCadden on Aug. 11, 1935, in Northfield. The couple lived in West Concord and Arizona. Mr. McCadden died Oct. 20, 1950. She moved to Rochester where she worked for the Hurrle Shoe Co., as a bookkeeper for more than 30 years. At the time of her death, she worked part time for Knob Hill Apartments as a bookkeeper. She was a 40-year member of the Rochester Rebekah Lodge #10 and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and its circles.

> Survivors include a daughter, Janis Irene (Mrs. Floyd) Wilburn of Rochester; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Dale Loren Stucki of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by a brother.

> Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Vine Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church.

> The family prefers memorials to Christ United Methodist Church.
