Lois Anderson Tapley, age 86, of Conyers was the widow of John H. Anderson who passed away in 1976 and was predeceased by her daughter, June Hager. She moved here 41 years ago from Atlanta and was a member of Belmont Baptist Church in Covington.
Survivors include her sons Mr. John H. Anderson Jr. and wife, Donna Anderson of Oxford, Mr. Ronald L. Anderson of Atlanta; daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Atcheson and husband, Jimmy R. Atcheson of Covington; sister, Mrs. Jewell Perkins of Covington; brother, Mr. Milton Jones of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Tapley will be held Saturday from Belmont Baptist Church in Covington with Rev. Nolan Jackson Sr. officiating.
