Body at Suburban Funeral Home, Denham Springs, with visiting. Religious services at the funeral home. Burial in Old Red Oak Cemetery, Livingston.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Stafford, Mina [sic Mena]; two daughters, Mrs. Inez Hill, Baton Rouge, and Ernestine Varga, Albany; two sons, Walter Stafford, Livingston, and Jack Stafford, Missouri; two step-sons, Frank Ellison, Mina [sic Mena], and Robert Ellison, St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Audiffred, and Mrs. Floye Sibley, both Satsuma, and Mrs. Levy Dipoala, Natalbany; four brothers, Arthur Stafford, and Bill Stafford, both of Satsuma, Hannie Stafford, Holden, and John Stafford, Livingston, 19 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
