DEATH CLAIMS BURKE MAN, 91
Cornelius Wade, ninety-one, of Connelly Springs died at two-thirty o'clock Friday afternoon at his home.
He was a retired farmer, and was a son of the late Henry and Mary Grant Wade.
Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Sunday afternoon at Friendship Methodist church in Burke county, with the Rev. Mr. Harper in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ivana Wade; five daughters, Mrs. J. E. Hoyle of Granite Falls, Mrs. M. G. Wilson of Icard, Mrs. Charlie Branch and Mrs. G. W. Turner, both of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Al Adams of Los Angeles, Calif.; five sons, Ralph Wade of San Francisco, Calif., G. F. Wade of Icard, S. J. Wade of Connelly Springs, J. G. Wade of Atlanta, Ga., and A. C. Wade of Sasser, Ga.
The body was removed from Maokie Funeral home to the residence at three o'clock this afternoon. It will lie in state 30 minutes at the church prior to the funeral.
