RITES SET FOR PIONEER'S KIN
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Isabelle Richardson, 76, wife of the late Abner Richardson[1], a developer of Southwest Texas, will be held Sunday in Asherton.
Mrs. Richardson died suddenly Friday following a heart attack in her Asherton home.
She was born April 18, 1865 in LaSalle county. Mrs. Richardson was the daughter of William Votaw, pioneer LaSalle county rancher.
Elijah Votaw, who fought and was wounded in the Battle of San Jacinto, was Mrs. Richardson's grandfather.
Survivors are her four daughters, Mrs. Bula Richardson Payne of San Antonio, Mrs. Lula Dean of Asherton, Mrs. Harriette McKinstry of Oklahoma and MRs. Forrest Anderson of Asherton.
Grandchildren are Dr. Asher McComb, Isabelle and Granger Anderson, George Gay and Harriette McKinstry.
Funeral services will be in Asherton and interment in Mission burial park.
