Death of Mrs. Brenneman - Louisa Brubaker Brenneman, wife of D. K. Brenneman, was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., March 31 1868. In 1885, she, with her parents, came west, settling in McPherson Co., near Galva. Some time later she was united in marriage to D. K. Brenneman, the couple continuing to reside near Galva until 1915, when they bought a farm in and came to Clark Co. Later they moved from the farm to Ashland, buying a home on the corner of Eleventh Avenue and Maple Street. Three weeks ago Mrs. Brenennman became ill, but her case was not considered serious until the last few days. Friday she was better but that night she grew rapidly worse, and died at four o'clock, Saturday morning, December 3. She is survived by her husband and by five children, whom names we havn't been able to get. Mrs. Brenneman was a devoted wife and mother, and a kind neighbor, ever ready and willing to help those in trouble. Funeral services was held in the M. E. church, Sunday afternoon and a special service held Tuesday at the beautiful McPherson Cemetery. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
