Esther Shrock
COTTAGE GROVE — Esther E. Shrock of Cottage Grove died June 5 of age-related causes at age 90. A family memorial service will be held later.
She was born March 17, 1920, in Canby to Peter and Gladys Prink Kister. She married Willis Shrock on July 16, 1938, in Stevenson, Wash. He died on Jan. 26, 2003.
She graduated from Molalla High School. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Vern of Cottage Grove; two daughters, Carolyn Levens of Medford and Sharon Kester of Cottage Grove; four sisters, May Swerver of Tigard, Alice Hoffman of Molalla, Aileen Gallagher of Portland and Donna Tschantz of Moser, Wash.; one brother, Arthur Kister of Gresham; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Cascade Columbarium in Fir Grove. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.
