BOUNTIFUL--Wesley L. Bayles, age 83, died September 28, 1992 at Lakeview Hospital, Bountiful, Utah.
Born April 26, 1909 in Grayson (now Blanding), Utah to Hanson and Evelyn Lyman Bayles. He received a B.A. from BYU, and an MD from Nebraska Medical School and served internships at Douglas County Hospital and University of Nebraska Hospital until July, 1939. He married Zephia Chloe Ross on July 18, 1943 (deceased).
After practice at a Veteran's Hospital in Michigan, he returned to Blanding, Utah and practiced in San Juan County until 1948 when he moved his practice to Salt Lake City, Utah. Following Zephia's death in 1968 he married Lois Johnson.
Survived by wife, two sisters, Adelia Gold and Mary Holt, five children, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services Thursday, October 1, 11 a.m., Yale Ward, 1431 East Gilmer Dr. Friends may call Wednesday evening at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday morning at the ward from 9:45 to 10:45. Interment: Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 South State St., Sandy.
