Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, Weston Lyman Bayles, 80, died on January 15, 1990 in Salt Lake City.


Born April 26, 1909 in Blanding, Utah to Hanson and Evelyn Lyman Bayles. Married Christa Simmons on February 28, 1948 in Spanish Fork, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He served with the House of Representatives in 1947, received a BA and an MS Degree from BYU and his JP Degree from Northwestern University. Practicing attorney in Salt Lake City from 1948 to 1986. Served as First Lieutenant in the U. S. Army in the Phillipines during World War II. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.


He is survived by his wife; sons, Weston C. and wife, Tami; also Len A. and wife, Sandy Bayles; grandchildren, Weston S., Russell, Kurtis, Tamra, and Michelle Bayles; a twin brother, Dr. Wesley Bayles; two sisters, Adelia Gold and Mary Holt.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 1990 at 11 a.m. at the Yale First Ward Chapel, 1431 Gilmer Drive, Salt Lake. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at MacKay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South and one hour prior at the Ward Chapel.
Interment: Lake Hills Memorial Park.
