Services for Inez Ereca Schilling, 78, of Spencer will beheld Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Baumgarten Chapel in Spencer. Dr. Landon Williams will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery.

The soloist, Gary Klett, will sing "Beyond the Sunset" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," accompanied by Mrs. William Wendlandt. Maurice Mingus, Don Casey, Jr., Ernest Stender, Richard Mingus, Clayton Mingus, Emmett Casey, Arlo Stender, and Kent Stender will be casket bearers.

Schilling, the daughter of Robert and Edna Lillibridge Barton, was born October 8, 1902 at Woolstock, where she attended school.

She married Emil Schilling in 1947 in Jackson, Minnesota. Except for 12 years spent in California, they lived in the Spencer area, where she was a member of the First Christian Church.

Schilling died Sunday at St. Luke's. Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Clyde and Roy; one sister, Neva in infancy; and her husband in 1965.

Survivors include one son, Robert of Storm Lake; one daughter, Bernice Catterson of Western Springs, Illinois; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Sylvan Barton of Spencer; and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Stromgren of Palo Alto, California, Mrs. Eva Mingus of Spencer, and Mrs. Dorothy Stender of Massena.

The Baumgarten Funeral Home is in charge of the service arrangements.
