She was married to the late Tom Archie of Caruthersville, Mo. She was a homemaker and was of Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by one son, Doyle Archie and her husband.
Survivors include: two daughters, Minnie Jackson of Osage Beach, Mo. and Janta Johnson of Risco, Mo.; three sons, Tommy Archie of Gleason, Tn., Jimmy Ray Archie of Medicine Heights, Mi. and Carl Junior Archie of Coldwater, Mi.; four sisters, Loretta Ray of Gideon, Mo., Lavern Davis of Mattoon, Il., Virginia Gray of Hayti, Mo. and Jerry Jones of Malden, Mo.; fourteen grandchildren.
Services held April 4, 1998 at 2 p.m. at the Bradshaw Chapel with Rev. Marshall Metcalf officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, Mo.
