Jessie Lee Ganus was the first child born to my grandparents, Robert Lee Ganus and Stella Mae Montgomery Ganus, on June 20, 1901. She died on August 5, 1901. She died 5 yrs, 3 mos., and 15 days before her Uncle Frank, Willam Franklin Ganus. His name on the tombstone was shown to be "W.E. Ganus", and his birth and death dates were shown as August 5, 1853 - Nov. 20, 1906. They are both buried in the Berryhill Cemetery. I found the info about Berryhill Cemetery at the Okmulgee Public Library. The book, "Cemetery Records of Okmulgee County", Book 1. It was edited and published by members of the Genealogical Society of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, 1974. Another daughter, Lola Lee Ganus, was born July 21, 1906 and died December 1, 1906, which is 11 days after the death of her Uncle Frank. She wasn't listed as being buried in the Berryhill Cemetery. My great grandmother, Olivia Rainwater Ganus, died September 12, 1902, which is 1 yr., 2 mos, and 13 days after her granddaughter, Jessie Lee Ganus. I haven't found where Olivia is buried. My great grandfather, John Monroe Ganus, died on April 16, 1906, which is 7 mos. and 4 days before his oldest son, William Franklin Ganus. I found a possibility that he may be buried in Little Cussetah Cemetery in Morris, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. He has a son, Roderick Monroe Ganus, who is buried there.

The location of Berryhill Cemetery as shown in the book mentioned in the above paragraph is as follows:

A small family burying ground located northwest of Okmulgee, OK on the south side of a country road a short distance into a field. It may be reached by driving 3 miles north on the old Okmulgee-Preston road from the intersection of Eufaula and Oklahoma Streets in Okmulgee, then west one-half mile. Berryhill Cemetery is in the
NE 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 24, T14N, R12E. It is no longer in use. Recorded January 10, 1971.
