Charles G. Fell, 86 year old Waseca resident, died on Sunday morning at the Waseca Memorial hospital at 6 a. m. He had been in poor health for several years. Death was caused by pneumonia, after he had been taken to the hospital only four days before. Funeral services were held at the Pfaff Funeral Chapel Tuesday afternoon with Rev. G. E. Martin officiating and burial was made in the Wooodville cemetery. Pall bearers were John Mittelstaedt, George Willocks, Leo Connor, Owen Brisbane, Lowell Brooks and John Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Ida, who is 83 years old; and the following children: Arthur, Lawrence and Stewart Fell and Mrs. Julian Palmer, all of Waseca. On son, Harry, passed away in March, 1946. A brother, David, preceded him in death and a sister also who lived in Germany. Charles G. Fell was born on February 26, 1862, and he came to this country when he was 16 years old to join his brother, David, already here. He took up the carpentry trade and worked at it for many years, and later also farmed. He was married to Miss Ida Joseph of Preston in Minneapolis in 1887, and the couple made their home here for the rest of the time.
