HARVEY - Margrete A. Harvey, 85, 5307 East Drive, Loves Park, died at 9:14 p.m. Friday, June 24, 1983, in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Born July 26, 1897, in Caldenia, daughter of Charles and Agnes Brown. Lived her life in Caledonia and Loves Park areas. Married Matthew Harvey in Caledonia, Sept. 20, 1919. Member Willow Creek Presbyterian Church; active in circles and the women's organization. Former president of North Suburban Woman's Club. Graduated from Rockford High School. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ralston, Rockford; a son, Raymond B., Rockford; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchldren. Predeceased by her husband in 1968, two sisters and a brother.
Services at 3 p.m. Monday, June 27, in DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME LTD., 401 River Lane, with the Rev. Steven Plank, pastor of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial in Scottish Cemetery, Argyle, Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial established for the church.
